West Early Learners Academy
West Elementary will become the West Early Learners Academy in 2024-25 to provide a specialized school for all WSISD pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students.

The WSISD Ag program is one of many Career and Technical Education pathways offered at the middle and high school levels.
Dual Language Programs
Liberty Elementary and the North STEAM Academy offer a Dual Language program that enables students to learn Spanish and English and become fully bilingual.

Dual Credit Academy
Brewer High School students earn college credit hours through courses offered through the school's Dual Credit Academy.

WSISD invites students, families and the community to a Homecoming Game Night Parade at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25 at Brewer High School. The parade will be followed by a Community Pep Rally.

White Settlement ISD celebrated the opening of the new West Early Learners Academy during a dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony on Sept. 3.

Pre-kindergartners at the West Early Learners Academy use dramatic play kits that mimic a vet clinic, grocery store, doctor's office, post office, salon, bakery, fire station and construction site. The kits include props, costumes, and other lifelike items to spark students’ imaginations.

After learning about the first female African American astronaut, Dr. Mae Jemison, pre-kindergartners made a name rocket with the letters of their name and a handprint rocket. Teacher Hilda Meza read “Mae Among the Stars” as part of a science lesson and Black History Month.

Pre-kindergarten students in Claudia Myers' dual language class practice measuring and comparing the capacity of containers. Students identified which had greater capacity and how many cups each container filled.
